 WICKETRAN est le projet du boss du label américain SNACKBAG RECORDS ! ce groupe est un duo basse batterie aventureux, empreint de noise rock et d'énergies rythmiques intenses : ces deux là n'hésitent pas à s'embourber dans de multiples breaks avant-coureurs, dans des contrepèteries rythmiques audacieuses et, en fin d'album, dans une volonté de créer un certain climat plus expérimental (toujours à base de rythmes...). Ce WICKETRAN est (math) rock dans l'esprit, bruyant et violent dans son corps, carré dans sa tête, a les oreilles grandes ouvertes, mais la longueur du disque fait en sorte d'annihiler toute la tension et l'énergie si durement transpirées dans de nombreuses heures de répétition... WICKETRAN manque peut être un peu de souffle mais sera avantageusement comparé à une mixture entre le décapant GOD HEAD SILO et le frivole DON CABALLERO !
